The conflict started during Ducky's last visit and the associated festivities. Everyone was happy to see Duky. Duky was overwhelmed due to all the excitement of everyone and felt like he needed to leave. Barney and Biscuit delayed his escape as they lost Ducky's passport while playing in the woods.

Barney and Biscuit's clumsiness caused Ducky's anxiety to spike and it took Ducky a long time to calm down. Ever since Ducky is uneasy when Barney and Biscuit are around. Therefore, the conflict is one-sided with Barney and Biscuit being unaware of the trouble they have caused and the conflict existing.
