About Family of Objects
This public program ran from March 2022 until November 2024. Together with the audience we have investigated the collection at Depot Boijmans Van Beuningen as if it were one big family.
We have discovered new connections between collection pieces and described them as family relationships. Such relationships go beyond the traditional art divisions of disciplines, movements, and styles. They have to do with how people experience and give meaning to art.
